SYNTHESIS AND REACTIONS,OF CARBAMOYL AND ALKOXY-CARBONYL COMPLEXES OF MANGANESE AND RHENIUM

摘要

The extent to which the forward reaction proceeds is dependent upon the amine used and in general appears qualitatively to follow the order, H2NCH3 > H2NCH2R > H2NCHR2 > H2NCR3. Although the only product isolated and characterized was Re (CO)5Cconhch3, infrared and NMR studies indicated that other primary and secondary amines react according to the above equation to form analogous carbamoyl complexes.
