Thermal, Structural and Magnetic Studies of Metals and Intermetallic Compounds

The work reported here was directed toward this same goal. Principal emphasis has been laid on systems containing the lanthanide, or rare earth, elements since (l) these systems have not been, extensively investigated, and (2) they give promise of shedding light on the more complex and industrially more significant systems containing d-transition metals and the actinides.
