Technical Progress Report of the Indiana University Spark Chamber Group December 1, 1971 to November 30, 1972

The Indiana Spark Chamber Group recently completed the running of a series of experiments at the Argonne National Laboratory ZGS to study the A2 meson. The A2 experiments involve a measurement of the missing-mass spectrum and proton polarization in it π±p- X ±p in the A2 region at 4 BeV/c, and the rare KK decay mode of the A2. Other major activities of the group during the current fiscal year include collaborative efforts at SLAC and the Brookhaven AGS.
