EXTINGUISHMENT OF WOOL BAG FILTER FIRES USING HALON 1301

摘要

The purpose of this test series was to determine if the contents of a baghouse (collecting noncombustible material) could ignite from a high heat source, such as a duct fire, while the system was operating with full airflow and if the bags ignited and became fully involved, could they be extinguished with Halon 1301.
