In this report we discuss a way of bypassing the instabilityinduced throughput limit in galutron (magnetic mass-analysis) type isotope separators. We deconstrate both experimentally and theoretically that the isotron (tins-of-flight) type of isotope separator is relativally immune to this type of instability, although still susceptible to the limitation due to the granular nature of the ion beam.
