Acquired Immunologic Tolerance in Chimeras and Histocompatibility Factors in Cattle and Their Relationship to Those in Humans

In keeping with our plans outlined in the Annual Technical Progress Report and the Proposed Technical Program of the previous grant period, we have concentrated our efforts in two major areas:n(1) acquired immunologic tolerance and the interaction of genetically distinct tissues in naturally (cattle) and artificially (birds) produced chimeras.n(2) histocompatibility factors on cattle lymphocytes and their relationship to those in humans.
