PROJECT RIO BLANCO: PROMPT ECOLOGICAL EFFECTS RESULTING FROM GROUND MOTION

摘要

The purpose of this section is to summarize the kinds of ecological effects observed as a result of ground motion from Project Rio Blanco, to estimate the frequency, spatial extent and magnitude of such effects, and to evaluate the ecological consequences of such effects. In attempting to accomplish this very difficult task, the authors have sought the opinions and advice of many persons of varied technical backgrounds, and have gathered and considered as many fects as possible within the time limitations imposed on the study.
