The total work effort during this reporting period was devoted to two new projects started during the previous reporting period. These projects are:n(1) An atomic collision cascade program (COLLIDE) for simulating displacement damage production in atom-bombarded specimens.n(2) A computer experiment study on the displacement threshold energy directional dependence in a fee metal (gasman-iron).nThese two projects were begun in response to an informal request by RDT during our participation in an RDT working group on atom displacement calculations.nAtom-Bombardment Simulations
