The GET program allows the user the ability to modify any card imago data file in an interactive environment using the CDC 252-2 Display Console. A primary feature used to facilitate the interactive process is displaying the file to the user in a page by page format on the scope. The program has many positioning oprions for page, line and character pointers and cursors. The interactive user has the ability to:n1. Manipulate/position the file in a forward or backward mode via several commands.n2. Change or delete any card in the file.n3. See any modification made in real-time.n4. Obtain a log (listing) of modifications made during the run, a new file reflecting all modifications made during the run, und a complete listing of the new file.nRestart capability is available for extended runs. In general, this program provides a real-time interactive updating capability.
