Results are presented π - p interactions with strange particle production in the I a hydrogen babble chamber of the at Pπ = (4.9 ± 0.05) GeV/c. The selection of events and data handling are given in raf. /4/. In order to obtain information about the mechanism of inter action, some sum roles were checked using the determined cross sections/3/. Such a test shoos that strange particles are produced by different mechanism and not by a single one (eqs. (4.5) and (4.6) from /3/. Therefore these sua rules and those (4.10), which take into account a large contribution of diffractive processes, are not fulfilled. An agreement was obtained for the sum rules (4.7) and (4.8) for n = 4. The basic assumption for these sua rules was that uncorrelated two-particle (4.7) /3/ and multiparticle (4.8) /3/ resonances were produced.
