PLASTIC EQUATION OF STATE IN TYPE 316 AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL

摘要

Load relaxation experiments have been performed on Type 316 stainless steel at temperatures up to 500°C. The resulting stress-plastic strain rote relationships show the behavior of plastic equation of stale. The experimental results suggest that at lower temperatures the deformation is controlled by dislocation glide and at higher temperatures dislocation glide becomes less important. A deformation model based on plastic equation of state is used to account for the experimental data.
