Dt Fusion Neutron Irradiating of Ai Glass Insulator Sample at 800exp 0 C and Sll Fiber Optic Bundles.

Samples were irradiated in the LLL Rotating Target Neutron Source (RTNS). One sample was a Nb--1percent Zr substrate upon which a glass coating consisting of SiO sub 2 ,BaO,and Al sub 2 O sub 3was fired. The substrate was 0.03inch thick,and the coating was approximately 0.003inch thick. Six fiber optic bundles were also irradiated at room temperature irradiation. A fluence of 10exp 12neutrons/cm exp 2was used for two of the bundles and as high as possible fluence was used on the four other fiber optic bundles. The results are given.
