X-Ray Calibration of Kodak No-Screen,Type AA,and Type M in the 1-4.5Kev Region.

摘要

The response of three Kodak x-ray films,No-screen,type AA and type M has been measured at 0.93, 1.5,and 4.5keV. These measurements were motivated by a need for a radiographic calibration applicable to the analysis of x-ray images produced by an x-ray microscope. This instrument is in current use to study x-rays generated by laser-induced plasmas. By appropriate filter selection,the microscope will focus narrow energy bands between 0.5and 8keV.
