LEVELS IN 163Tm EXCITED BY THE DECAY OF 11.4 MIN 163Yb

摘要

The decay of 163b ( T1 2- 11.4 min) has been investigated with Ge(Li) , si(Li) and Nal(Tl) detectors, a toroidal beta-spectrometer and magnetic beta-spectrographs by using isobarically separated samples produced by the YASUAPP facility at Dubna. The single y-ray spectrum , the conversion electron spectrum, prompt and delayednγ-γ coincidences and β-γ coincidences have been measured. 110 nev/ γ-ray transitions have been observed. A decay scheme of 163Yb is proposed involving 30 excited states in 163Tm. The first members of the rotational bands 1 2 [ 411. , 7 2 104 , l2 541 ,n3 2[111] and7 2 [523] have been identi¬fied. Possibilities of interpretation of the hich-lying levels are discussed. The Q-value of Yb has been determined to be 3370 100 keV.
