REMOVAL AND RECOVERY OF HEXAVALENT CHROMIUM FROM INDUSTRIAL EFFLUENTS - A LITERATURE SURVEY

A survey of current literature pertaining to the removal and destruction, and the recovery and reuse of hexavalent chromium in industrial effluents is presented. The majority of the 121 references cited have been published since 1970. Removal of hexavalent chromium from aqueous solutions, recovery of hexavalent chromium for reuse or sale, and destruction of process sludge are pertinent topics in the publications cited.
