ABSTRACTS US INTERNATIONAL BIOLOGICAL PROGRAMnECOSYSTEM ANALYSIS STUDIES Volume IV, No. 3

Has served for the past 5 years as a communication link between research scientists of the Environmental Component of the USIBP, to IBP researchers in other countries, and on request to the world's scientific community Biome groups currently submitting input to this publication are the Coniferous Forest Biome (CFB), Desert Biome (DSB), Eastern Deciduous Forest Biome (EDFB), Grassland Biome (GRB), and Tundra Biome (TNB). This issue of the Abstracts contains abstracts of reports and data sets from three Biomes (EDFB, GRB, and TNB) of reports and data sets are prepared within each biome, edited, and forwarded to EDFB where the material is reviewed, further edited, and entered into a computer file. All material printed in Abstracts and additional information as well is stored on a data cell accessible by the conversational retrieval program, OR LOOK, via remote computer terminals. The aggregate 1833 citations in Vols. 1(1) through IV(3) can be searched on request by authors, keywords, taxa, subject category and/or full text including title, abstract, and other fields.
