High-Temperature Vacuum Thermal Stability Tests of Explosives

Twenty-six explosive compounds, candidates for high-tempera¬ture applications, were subjected to vacuum thermal stability tests at 200, 175, and 150°C for periods up to 90 days. RDX, HMX, and TNT were also run at the lower temperatures for comparison. The test results are given in tabular form, grouped by temperature, and in graphical form by compound for the three temperatures.
