The first experiment in the PCM-20Test Series,the power calibration test,is described. The objectives of the experiment were to relate the PBF core power to the power in the PCM-20test rod,evaluate the loop system,and evaluate the hardware,instrumentation and data acquisition system used for the PCM-20tests. The test rod peak linear power was determined by radiochemical analysis and a thermal-hydraulic energy balance. 7references.
