The observations that have been reported here must all be considered interim in so far as they have been made on ongoina experiments. Both then238PuOp and the 139 PuO2 observations are on dogs that have died of radiation pneumonitis or been sacrificed to obtain tissue distribution data as parts of a lifespan, low-level effects study.
