Operating Capability of N Reactor During Abnormal Power Supply on BPA System. Final Report for PT N-400

Production Test N-400 was performed for the purpose of testing N Reactor critical instrument control systems and power supplies during a simulated BPA power system disturbance that involved deviation from normal supply voltage and frequency. Abnormal power deviation limits were provided by ERDA-RL in cooperation with WPPSS for power conditions which would be used to verify N Reactor operating capability. The report provides a summary of test data taken during PT N-400 testing and a discussion of the significance of the test results.
