INEXPENSIVE SHIELDED dV/dt PROBE FOR HIGH VOLTAGE LABER APPLICATIONS

A high voltage, radio frequency-shielded probe was constructed by modifying an inexpensive BNC straight adaptor to monitor the voltage applied to a Pockels cell electro-optical gate. The probe permits rapid adjustment of the timing of the Pockels cell gate voltage to coincide with a single optical pulse of the pulse train from a mode-locked laser oscillator.
