The methods for assessing track temperature in gases were examined and that haste on differences in activation energies of abstraction reactions was developed using two techniques. The first is based on total product analysis of species which have is or n-propyl radicals as precursors. The other is concerned with the same radicals but employs C214 H4 as a scavenger and the radical-sampling technique for quantization of the two intermediates. In the gamma radiolysis of propone, the relative yields of the two radicals are in dependent of pressure between 0.005and 0.02g/un3.
