摘要

A method was developed for calculating the induced fields due to eddy currents, in order to determine whether the conducting material is finely enough subdivided that eddy current effects do no harm. In using the method, the conducting material is divided into rectangular bricks. With suitable assumptions about the acting magnetic field, the current densities can be described by third-power equations. Consequently, the induced field from each brick can be written analytically. The method has been applied to flux penetration of the blanket and shield of Argonne National Laboratory's proposed design for a Tokamak Experimental Power Reactor. (ERA citation 01:018328)
