Safety and Security of Nuclear Power Reactors to Acts of Sabotage.

摘要

A study has been made of the vulnerability of U.S. commercial light water reactor power plants to sabotage. The susceptibility of nuclear plants to sabotage and the consequences of a successful attack are compared with respect to other industrial and civil targets. Recommendations are given to further reduce the vulnerability of nuclear power plants to sophisticated sabotage threats. (ERA citation 04:010689)
