Determination of Nuclear Charges by the Method of Grain Counting in Heavy Particles Tracks

The purpose of this work was to research the possibilities of a new methodics application for determination of nuclear charges using nuclear emulsions with essentially low silver halide concentration. Such emulsions allow to count grains in heavy nuclei tracks unlike ordinary high sensitive nuclear emulsions which were used for photometric measurements. In the present paper only preliminary experimental results are given and they are supposed to be supplemented subsequently. There is also given a scheme of theoretical grain density calculation in particle track sections. (Atomindex citation 08:301892)
