摘要

The production of 40percent cored area flyash brick from one lignite and two bituminous coal flyashes is described. The effect of varying the sodium silicate content and other process variables on the brick production tests is also discussed. Improved mixing techniques for the production of reproducible aerated concrete specimens is discussed along with the current status of the sulfur removal program,the recovery of metals from acid mine drainage and the potential for removing S in coal by bacterial action.
