A RISK ANALYSIS OF EXPOSURE TO HIGH CONCENTRATIONS OF ZINC CHLORIDE SMOKE

Most of the reported cases of zinc chloride smoke injury have occurred during military or firefighting training exercises. When similar exercises were proposed at Sandia Laboratories, it was felt that a detailed risk analysis was necessary. The purpose of this report is to estimate the risk of toxic effects under the expo¬sure conditions that are expected to occur.
