Calculations have been carried out to determine the spatial dependence of charged hadron and lepton currents produced by low-momentum (s: 3 GeV/c) charged pions in Al, Fe, and Pb targets. Even at the lowest momentum values considered (0.5 GeV/c), there is little difference between incident positive pions and negative pions with respect to the average spatial dependence of the charged current.
