Evaluation of the Dose-Effect Relationships for the Immune Response to Biologically Active AgentsnAssociated with Oil Shale and Coal Gasification Technologies January 1 —June 30, 1976
It is necessary to evaluate the effect of oil shale and coal gasification by¬products on the immune system. The objective of this project is the application of automated flow-systems technology to evaluate the effects of these physical and chemical agents. The program utilizes multiparameter flow-systems cell-analysis and cell-sorting instrumentation developed at the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, thus permitting early and accurate assessment of cellular damage to the immune system.
