An interim structural evaluation Jus been conducted to establish the effects of pool swell loads on the suppression chamber system of a typical Mark I plant. The plant selected for the analyses was the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Unit In order to provide results in a timely manner, the geom.-try was adopted from an existing finite element model of a suppression chamber such that the model closely represented, though not identically, the Peach Bottom Plant.
