Modeling and Optimization of Geothermal Power Plants Using the Binary Fluid Cycle

The prospects for wide-scale use of geothermal resources are however quite promis¬ing as evidenced by the existing power plants around the world, the proposed power plants, and the presence of numerous geothermal reservoirs. The utilization of the large number of low temperature reservoirs with the binary fluid cycle plant will significantly increase the power generation capabilities of the United States and other nations.
