摘要

It has been shown that the high current density and magnetic flux density associated with superconductors can make the magnetoelastic energy a significant portion of the total energy in a structural system. The present work presents a procedure for evaluating this magnetoelastic energy for use in the finite element analysis of the structural dynamics and stability of the superconductor. A simple, special case of the element matrices is illustrated. (ERA citation 03:024834)
