Development of a Probabilistic Model of Containment Conditions Following a Core-Disruptive Accident in a Breeder Reactor

Development of a probabilistic model for the evaluation of conditions in the containment of a breeder reactor following a core disruptive accident is discussed. The model as developed in the third phase of a risk assessment development program is presented. This model orders possible accident progression sequences, using various initial states, reaction modes and rates, and responses of engineered safety systems.
