摘要

An electric vehicle powered by energy stored in lead-acid batteries is compared with a hydrogen fueled vehicle utilizing an internal combustion engine and iron-titanium hydride for the fuel storage. The comparison shows that for roughly equivalent vehicle types,the iron-titanium storage of hydrogen provides a vehicle with better range,better performance,and fewer operational limitations than an electric vehicle using lead-acid batteries.
