STRUCTURED COMPUTER-AIDED DIGITAL LOGIC DESIGN:THE S-l DESIGN SYSTEM

摘要

Structured computer-aided digital logic design is defined and an example of it given, the S-l Design System. It is noted that such a system has resulted in a very large reduction in the amount of designer effort required to complete the design of a large-scale digital processing system in the first exercise of its capabilities. This basic and generally applicable advance in digital design technology may be expected to quite favorably impact all complex digital systems developments.
