Energy Conservation in Production and Utilization of Magnesium

On May 25, 26, and 27, 1977, a conference was held to create a meaningful dialogue among industrial, university, and government personnel that would lead to energy conservation in production of magnesium and through its utilization. An important aim was to delineate aspects of the problem which these groups could attack by effective interaction to achieve long term solutions. This report summarizes the proceedings and recommendations made during the conference. (ERA citation 09:040498)
