Identification of Reliability and Maintainability Requirements for Industrial Energy Conservation RD and D Programs. Final Report

The purpose of the assignment was to produce a set of general reliability and maintainability program criteria at three levels of sophistication for use in Industrial Energy Conservation RD and D programs. The criteria were developed from a study of about 35 existing programs. A Pareto approach was taken in selecting the 35 most costly programs out of 174 programs. The RD and D program cycle and the levels of reliability and maintainability sophistication are described in Section II. The method of selection is described in Section III. Section IV presents a review of the programs and Section V describes the components and data reporting system of such programs.
