Biweight regression analysis was used to analyze data on air pollution in the San Francisco Bay Area. Relationships between daily maximum hourly averages of total oxidant concentration and selected weather variables were examined. The study of daily variations of NO sub 1 ,NO sub 2 and total oxidant calculated by using the 10 percent trimmed mean is also included. The data base consists of the hourly concentrations of the pollutants at San Jose and Redwood City monitoring stations during July, August, and September in 1974. (ERA citation 03:037958)
