Forty-two short papers representing a wide variety of scientific disciplines but with a common interest on the problem of reconstructing functions in three dimensional space from their projections along various directions onto planes are included. The problem of three-dimensional image reconstruction is of interest in areas such as nuclear medicine,electron microscopy,radio astronomy,holographic interferometry,plasma physics,and radiography.
