The areas of major effort on the Thermal Storage Subsystem include development of a concept for a Commercial Plant Thermal Storage Subsystem, development of a preliminary design for the Thermal Storage Subsystem in a 10 MWe Pilot Plant, and the design, construction and testing of a Thermal Storage Research Experiment.
