Correlation of Propagation Characteristics of Solar Cosmic Rays Detected on Board the Spatially Separated Space Probes Mars-7 and Prognoz-3

Solar flare-generated particle fluxes during the period 3-5 November, 1973, were analyzed. In the analysis the energetic particle data from the high-apogee satellite Prognoz-3 and the particle data from the Soviet space probe Mars-7 were used. The interplanetary magnetic field data were received from the World Data Centre B2 (Moscow). The general characteristics of the event could be well understood in terms of the effect of a corotating stream-stream interaction region on the general behavior of charged particles.
