Important factors in the innovation decision process among potential users of microwave-vacuum grain dryers

摘要

The purpose of the study is to estimate the rate at which the new dryers will be implemented in response to different financial incentives, the cost to the Federal Government of those incentives, and the resulting energy savings. The end product will be an econometric model for estimating the dryer's implementation rate under each particular incentive.nThis report describes our findings in Task III, in which we examined the significant factors affecting the innovation decision in the grain drying industry. This information will be used to finalize the econometric model. Also presented here are the potential incentives to be tested in the model.
