摘要

The preliminary phase of a state-of-the-art report concerning well completions for geopressured and geothermal energy source and injection wells is presented. The report covers corrosion and metal problems, scale deposition and control, general production interval completion techniques, and a model of an all-liquid heat recovery system. Both hot water geopressured source wells and water disposal (injection) wells are discussed in some detail. Areas for further development and study with regards to United States Gulf Coast geopressured well completions are identified. (ERA citation 03:042588)
