摘要

Electrochemical polarisation properties of Zircaloy-2 and Zircaloy-4 oxides at 350 deg C have been studied by using molten salt of nitrate/nitrite. Differences in the current-voltage characteristics after different heat treatments of the material may be explained by changes in the microstructure. If such a microstructure of the material is obtained that the sizes and distribution of the intermetallic particles decrease the electron flow, a corrosion resistant material seems to be obtained.
