The Pennsylvania Energy Extension Service held a number of two-day energy conservation seminars across the state for local government officials. This workbook was prepared to assist the seminar participants in following the material being presented and to be used for making notes for later reference. The topics discussed at the seminar included energy audits, evaluating capital investments and conducting cost analyses, community awareness, energy considerations in code enforcement, and energy conservation in new and existing building, vehicle operation and maintenance, road design and maintenance, and outdoor lighting.
