The primary objective of this program was to demonstrate the degree in which Madaras power plants having capacities in the 10 MW to 200 MW range are competitive with horizontal axis wind turbines. This objective was achieved by addressing the four unanswered questions stated in Paragraph 1.5.nThese objectives and the major questions were addressed in a four-phase study.
