This report embodies the Proceedings of an American Nuclear Society Topical Conference "Advances in Reactor Physics" held at Gatlinburg, Tenn., April 10-12, 1978. It comprises 47 papers. The train purpose of the meeting was to present recent physics-related developments in reactor design, nuclear data, and calculation methods for both fast and thermal reactors. Topics included nuclear data for reactor design, design method, and design applications to thermal, intermediate-spec in, and fast reactors. Emphasis was placed on the also interaction and involvement of reactor physics in the design process.
