摘要

The influence of dissolved carbon dioxide on the thermodynamic per¬formance of geothermal steam systems is analyzed. The system is divided into its main component: the flash tank, the turbine, the condenser and the gas extraction system, and the effect of noncondensables is studied for each. The effect of the noncondensable gas on the output of the whole system is deduced from its effect on the individual components. The ana-lysis of actual systems is preceded by an analysis of an ideal system. The optimum condenser pressure for actual systems is obtained for different gas extraction system efficiencies. Economic considerations, however, are only qualitatively addressed.
