System for RF Power Input to URAL-30 Proton Linac Cavities

摘要

A block diagram for a proposed rf power supply system for the URAL-30 accelerator is given, and the design principles of the system for rf power input to the accelerator cavities are described with consideration of the small size of the cavities and the peculiarities of their loading by the electron beam. Methods are proposed for compensation of rf field disturbances in the cavities at high acceleration currents. (ERA citation 03:048608)
