Reliability Analysis for the Safety Injection (SI) System of the Doel I - II Power Plant in Case of a LOCA

An assement is made for the failure probability of the safety injection system of the Doel power plant. The SI system is composed of three subsystems: high pressure, low pressure and accumulator system. For each subsystem a fault tree is constructed and these fault trees are evaluated by a computer code which calculates the mean system failure probability and the error bounds.
